Family Farm & Home moving into Shopko
Family Farm & Home has announced that its 66th store will be coming soon to Tecumseh to occupy the 45,000-square-foot former Shopko building at 2655 W. Chicago Blvd. The store will be the retailer’s 46th Michigan location and is set to open in late February 2021. Family Farm & Home, based in Muskegon, is a family owned and operated company that prides itself on focusing on local community. “Because of this, the FFH family is thrilled to invest in another Michigan location to fulfill the lifestyle needs of rural and suburban customers who aspire to live, work and grow like they do,” stated a press release from the company.
Core departments at Family Farm & Home include feed and accessories for pets, horses and livestock, as well as farming supplies. The chain also offers products for home heating, lawn and garden, hardware, automotive, work clothing, footwear, and more. “We truly are your trusted resource, just down the road,” said Tim Fansler, co-president and chief merchandising officer. “Our focus on superior customer service through in-depth product knowledge and training, paired with our extensive and competitively priced assortments, make us the ideal one-stop shop.”
Currently operating 65 stores throughout five Midwestern states, Family Farm & Home has experienced significant growth since opening its first three locations in 2002. Family Farm & Home employs more than 1,100 team members overall, and will hire approximately 15 employees for the Tecumseh location.
