It has been nearly 15 seasons since Clinton High School last played in a Lenawee County Athletic Association football game.

It appears as if the Redskins hadn’t missed a beat.

Clinton jumped out to a 28-0 lead and beat the Bluestreaks 49-28 to open the 2020 football season.

Clinton ran wild against the Bluestreaks, rushing for more than 400 yards in the contest.

Brayden Randolph rushed for 112 yards and scored a touchdown, Brayden Lehman rushed for 106 yards, including a 52-yard run, and Jack Voll scored two touchdowns and had 91 rushing yards.

David Campbell and Zak Shadley scored touchdowns for the Clinton offense in the win.

Clinton will host Columbia Central on Friday beginning at 7 p.m. Both teams are 1-0 in LCAA action as the Golden Eagles defeated Onsted on Friday, 21-7, to open league play.
